Una delle strofe recita infatti “Tell me more, tell me more, did she put up a fight?” ( “Dimmi di più, dimmi di più, lei ha lottato?”) che secondo alcuni sarebbe un incitamento allo stupro.
What do you think about this? Im offended that there are people stupid enough to be offended by a light hearted film! What is wrong with people these days?
Grease is 'racist, rapey, homophobic and slut-shaming' say snowflakes https://t.co/0S6lGST5wf via @MailOnline

All couples must be boy/girl? Well Grease, shove your homophobia up your jacksy

Ahhh man. Just watching #Grease one of my favourite films and it’s so of its time. Misogynistic, sexist and a bit rapey.
— Dr Kelly ? ? (@KellyQuilt) December 26, 2020
literally this song is such a statement on femininity, sexism, women’s choices and slut shaming, powerfully sung by miss channing #grease
— katherine (@martinbeaIe) December 26, 2020
Rewatching #grease in my older years and thinking what kind of message is this to give to young girls.
— Mueni (@Mueni27815007) December 26, 2020
Grease is on. It really has a terrible message doesn't it?
— Zoë Paramour (@ZoeParamour) December 26, 2020
The message if Grease is literally "change who you are for the approval of a guy who treats you like dirt" but I still love it????
— Xe (@thecr33psh0w) December 26, 2020
How time changes the way we see things
I'm still singing along to #Grease but now I'm seeing all kinds of problematic issues.
Gang warfare, sexism, assault, toxic masculinity, bitchy bullying girl gangs, peer pressure, slut shaming…
And we're only 15minutea in ???— Jasmine Dotiwala (@jasminedotiwala) December 26, 2020
Grease is just toxic masculinity the musical
— Nickle Ass (@nich0lad) December 26, 2020
Danny Zuko is THE worst written character and completely ruins the entire movie Grease with his egotistical, toxic masculinity, r*pe culture-y ways, in this essay I will
— mig✨ (@meganxstones) December 26, 2020
So are we not supposed to tailor our appearance to meet men’s approval while not tempting them to rape us? ?
— Kate (@Speedikate) December 26, 2020
And the moral of the film – if your boyfriend doesn't like the way you look, just change your entire style and personality to win his heart! #Grease
— J?????❤ (@MissLionHeart) December 26, 2020
The moral of Grease.
Change for him.
So uplifting.

So much chat on my Timeline about Grease.
It's a steaming pile of horseshit – absolutely hate it. Plus, it tells you, you aren't good enough so need to change to bag the guy.
That can get to fuck aswell.
Oh and whilst I am ranting – John Travolta is a minger.
— Anj☆ie (@AceMas21) December 26, 2020
My favourite thing about #Grease is the wholesome message that it teaches about being in love… If the person you love doesn't notice you, just change everything about your appearance and personality until they love you back!
— Chris Deez (@PWCDeez) December 26, 2020
How did I ever think Grease was a good film. It’s bloody awful! The message is a girl has to let a guy touch her up when he wants. Then she has to completely change her appearance and personality to be acceptable to him and his friends. ?
— Zoe ?? (@mrs_moog) December 26, 2020
Grease is super rapey
— Wolfie v21 (@ross11ross) December 21, 2020
Watched Grease the other night on the BBC, surprised they let it go, full of white people, yet the pogues had there song edited to suit the woke
— Miword (@Miword2) December 29, 2020
White people love Grease
— abi ? (@hxrrop) December 26, 2020
grease peak of homophobia
— am.⁷ ?✨ (@mobflower) December 25, 2020
Grease is like a pastel acid trip with very flamboyant yet sexist guys and i will not be taking any more questions.
— v (@LILBOIQUEEN) December 26, 2020
As much I love Grease (and know all the songs by heart) the message it sends is very dubious. You won’t get a boyfriend or a girlfriend unless you change who you really are.
— Storm Crone MA (@LadyBrienne1) December 26, 2020
Just watched Grease, the moral of the story is – for a relationship to succeed, a woman needs to change her complete personality & beliefs.
— Jack Wightwick (@JDwightwick69) December 26, 2020
Grease has the most appalling message (change your appearance and values to hold onto a man, women who put out are sluts, boys will be boys etc) but the songs are BANGERS.
— Lucy Flower (@MrsLFlower) December 26, 2020
grease is so misogynistic,,, the moral of the story is that if you like a guy, you should change your entire personality and appearance so he likes you back-
— hannah 🙂 (@lumosmoak) December 26, 2020
Grease is on and it’s so sexist but so fun happy Christmas
— Lydia (@snowssimon) December 26, 2020
#Grease is just the most sexist piece shite.
— Steve D ???? (@Stevedlfc) December 26, 2020
It's weird but; my biggest issue with Grease has always been the ending. Just bc it gives off such a rubbish message re: being true to yourself instead of changing to fit what a man wants you to be.
— David Cann (@drwhofan_194) December 26, 2020
My kids gasped when they said couples had to be boy/girl pmsl Changed days, indeed.
— Fat White Jen (@fatwhitejen) December 26, 2020
okay also can we agree that the message in grease is the worst message ever and that the movie isn’t even that good other than the songs? like girl they really said change yourself for a man ?
— soso ? #blm (@sosojauregui) December 26, 2020
How much of a rape fest is the film Grease ?
— M E L L A (@thatitaliantwat) December 26, 2020
Another reason why Grease2 is so much better – Michelle Pfeiffer's character is a feminist icon
— Ross Taylor (@themightyug) December 26, 2020
Grease really has a whole song where Danny is sad that Sandy is mad at him trying to rape her ????
— director saz (@sarahlostctrl) December 26, 2020
Grease is actually kinda dumb isn’t it?
Don’t get me wrong, I love it but like, Sandy changing the way she looks for a guy? For a douchebag no less? For a class A Fuckboy?!
Girl, CHANGE FOR NO MAN! If he don’t want you for all you are BOY BYE
But I do love Grease tehe ??♀️— emjem (@em_jem_) December 26, 2020
How much of a rape fest is the film Grease ?
— M E L L A (@thatitaliantwat) December 26, 2020
I am happy to say that I've never watched Grease. From what I've gathered there's a school girl worrying she might be pregnant and the main female character has to change herself into a skin tight leather clad, thick makeuped chain smoker in order get the guy. Not a great message
— Gill Kiernan (@GillKiernan) December 26, 2020
Crazy watching Grease as an adult and realising a song as seemingly innocent as “Sandy” is just Zucco moaning cos he can’t rape his gf in a car park
— Will Truefitt (@will_truefitt) December 26, 2020
Grease – such a great feminist message for us girls ??
— Susy Atkins (@SusyAtkins) December 26, 2020
Just talking about it to the boys. Great soundtrack but a film with a terrible message for girls #grease
