Ricordiamo che secondo gli ultimi rumor le riprese sono previste per il 2023.
Phillips ha diretto il film da una sceneggiatura che ha scritto insieme Scott Silver (“The Fighter”). Il film sarà prodotto da Emma Tillinger Koskoff, Phillips e Bradley Cooper e Richard Baratta, Joseph Garner e Bruce Berman saranno produttori esecutivi. Oltre Joaquin Phoenix protagonista, il film vede anche la partecipazione di Zazie Beetz, Bill Camp, Frances Conroy, Brett Cullen nei panni di Thomas Wayne, Glenn Fleshler, Douglas Hodge, Marc Maron, Josh Pais e Shea Whigham.
