Netflix ha annunciato ufficialmente che Millie Bobby Brown sarà la protagonista di The Electric State il film Netflix diretto dai fratelli Russo. Il film ambientato in un passato retro-futuristico, seguirà un’adolescente orfana (Brown) mentre attraversa il West americano con un robot e un eccentrico vagabondo alla ricerca del fratello minore.

Il film sarà un adattamento dell’omonima graphic novel di Simon Stålenhag pubblicata nel 2018. La sceneggiatura sarà scritta da Christopher Markus e Stephen McFeely.
