Non è passato molto tempo da quando James Gunn aveva annunciato il suo coinvolgimento in Guardian of Galaxy Vol.3, ma il regista non ha mancato di tornare sotto i riflettori. A breve, il secondo capitolo della saga, sarà rilasciato nei cinema, Gunn è stato impegnato nella promozione dello stesso insieme a Chris Pratt. Tuttavia, il suo lavoro non finirà una volta che questo farà il suo debutto. Il regista, infatti, non solo sarà impegnato in Avengers: Infinity War, ma inizierà già a lavorare sul prossimo capitolo dei Guardiani della Galassia.
Il regista lo ha dichiarato in un’intervista a ScreenRant, nella quale ha confermato la sua incredibile voglia di tornare al lavoro sui Guardiani.
“I have a little work to do on Infinity War, but I’ll be going straight into it . For a while, it becomes more like a regular job, which is really good. You know, for the past year or so, or more, it’s been seven days a week, all the time working on this movie, and so for a little while I’ll be able to have some downtime, and do a couple trips and see, you know, see the world a little bit, but also work.” Ha dichiarato Gunn.
La notizia potrà non sembrare molto sorprendente, ma è sicuramente interessante notare la voglia e il legame che il regista sta creando con questa saga. Gunn ha voluto condividere le sue dichiarazioni con tutti i fan su Facebook (che cerchi supporto per rendere il tutto più rapido?).
“After many months of ruminations and discussions, I know the answer. I could save this answer for the first, random interviewer to ask me during the press junket but instead I thought I’d share it with the most important people in the Guardiansverse – you, the fans, who have been so incredibly supportive and enthusiastic over the past five years, it has moved me to tears on a regular basis. So, yes, I’m returning to write and direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.”
